Log in to cPanel

Within cPanel, a you have all the tools that you need to create an impressive web presence. You can add mail accounts, access your files, use website builders, add a blog to your site, and a whole lot more. You can access your cPanel by clicking on "My Websites" in the menu, and clicking the "View Details" button next to the website which you want to access the cPanel for.

You can then click the "Log in to cPanel" button to open cPanel.

You can also access your cPanel directly from any web browser by adding "/cPanel" to your own domain name. So for example, you would type "www.mydomainname.com/cPanel". You will be asked for the username and password applicable to your hosting account to access cPanel features (note this will usually be different to the login details for your member account at www.yourwebsite.com.au).

If you have forgotten your cpanel login details for a particular hosting service, you can see this in your member profile of www.yourwebsite.com.au
Login to your client area, and choose "My services". Click the icon at the right hand end of the service you wish to see details of, and your username and password are shon on the next page. You can also change your password here, but not your username.

It can be easy to get the various username / password combinations mixed up - just to remind you again, the username/password combination for your cPanel is the also used to access your ftp login to transfer and edit your own website files.
